Rangers Bennett Coon Hurt Friday, June 1st , 2035 When Bennett Coon was hurt against the Colorado Rockies, the Texas Rangers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 26-year-old right fielder suffered a ruptured achilles tendon running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Coon would miss 4-5 months of the season. Coon is presently hitting at a .239 pace with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and has scored 22 times. |
