Orioles Ciccolella to Miss Year Monday, May 21st , 2035 Gianluigi Ciccolella has to call it a season. The Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Toronto Blue Jays and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ciccolella was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 13-14 months. For the season Ciccolella has compiled a 2-3 record with a 3.53 ERA. |
