Kansas City's Flores Reaches 2500 Hits Tuesday, May 8th , 2035 Jorge Flores reached the 2500-hit milestone this afternoon at Best Buy Ballpark. The 42-year-old Royals third baseman went 2-for-5 in a losing effort in the Kansas City 6-5 defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
