Schwab Week's Best in EAST Monday, May 7th , 2035 26-year-old Darill Schwab sent shock waves through Skyline Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Eastern Region Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Schwab made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .565 average, 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run and 7 runs batted in. Where the Minnesota Twins right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Schwab certainly made his mark last week. This season Schwab is batting .324 with 35 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 20 times and has 26 runs batted in. |
