Season May Be Over for Expos Howell
Sunday, August 28th, 2022
The season is finished for Bill Howell of the Montreal Expos. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Expos reliever suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the New York Mets. Team doctors said it would take at least 5-6 months to heal.

Thus far this season Howell has saved 1 games. His won-lost mark is 1 win and 1 loss with 17 strikeouts in 16 innings, along with a 1.69 ERA.
