It's Official: Pittsburgh Clinches Playoff Spot Saturday, October 4th , 2042 Postseason baseball is coming to Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Pirates have punched their ticket past the regular season, by today securing a playoff berth on the strength of their 89-65 record. The Eastern Region Great Lakes Division club can now focus on trying to win the division, but mathematically the club can no longer be ousted from a playoff spot. |
