September's Premier Rookie Named by WEST Wednesday, October 1st , 2042 With a flourish, Colorado's Hephesto Montanez hoisted up September's Western Region Rookie of the Month Award. Even though it's his first year in the league, he definitely has reason to be proud. Last month in 0 starts he posted 6 wins and no losses and collected a 1.48 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 24.1 innings of work. He issued 5 walks and held the opposition to a .225 average.
