Great Stroke: Ray Gets 5 Hits Sunday, August 30th, 2026 Virginia second baseman Justin Ray had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Atlanta Braves at Old Dominion Stadium as the Black Bears picked up a 11-5 victory. "He was patient up there today," Virginia skipper J.D. Fleming told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Ray has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Justin Ray singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
