Fans are still buzzing after Texas whipped the St. Louis Terriers by the score of 7-5 today at Busch Stadium presented by Purina.
Alex Batista smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the second baseman bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 6 RBIs and scored 3 times.
At the postgame press conference, Batista said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Batista said. "Three is just... wow."
