But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Toronto Blue Jays reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2054 Eastern Region Reliever of the Year. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Englewood, Colorado native said. For the season, Fahey had 9 saves in 74 relief appearances, which totaled 134. He fanned 151 betters, while walking 53 and put up a record of 6-5 to go with his 2.82 ERA. Gabriel McClanahan of the Minnesota Twins finished second in voting, while Vincente Proctor of the Philadelphia Phillies finished third. |
