Season Over for Mason Morgan in St. Louis
Sunday, August 7th, 2022
Mason Morgan will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the St. Louis reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Morgan was injured while throwing a pitch in the Cardinals-Marlins clash at Marlins Park recently. Doctors said he has shoulder inflammation and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months.

This season Morgan has picked up no saves and posted a 2-2 record with a 6.33 ERA. He has 30 relief appearances, tossed 58.1 innings and struck out 31.
