Bad News for Orioles, Muñoz Injured Saturday, August 27th , 2044 The Baltimore Orioles will lose the services of starting pitcher Aitor Muñoz after he sustained a herniated disc while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Virginia Black Bears. "I'll get through it," Muñoz said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 2 weeks. In 25 starts this year Muñoz has posted 11 wins while suffering 5 losses. He has pitched 170 innings, allowed 139 hits, struck out 218 and has a 3.23 ERA. |
