Week's Premier Performer Honored by WEST Monday, August 17th, 2026 At the age of 28, Jerry Gipple might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The California right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .400 batting average. For his efforts Gipple collected the Western Region Player of the Week Award.
