Great Week for San Diego's Steven Green Monday, August 3rd, 2026 San Diego Padres second baseman Steven Green walked away with the Western Region Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Padres fans are really behind me right now," said the 28-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Green batted .565 (13-for-23) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Presently Green is batting .255 and has collected 6 home runs, 21 RBIs, .330 OBP and scored 30 runs. |
