Rehab Road Tough for Twins Hunter Poll Tuesday, October 20th , 2054 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Minnesota Twins today as they learned that left fielder Hunter Poll had suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring strain and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is 2 weeks. Poll is hitting .342 so far this season with 40 RBIs and 73 runs scored. He has 184 hits including 2 home runs, 22 walks and .369 OBP. |
