League Suspends Winston and Venegas for Fisticuffs Saturday, August 1st, 2026 Ryan Winston of the Montreal Expos and Alberto Venegas of the California Angels received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Olympic Stadium. So far this year Winston has 6 home runs and a .295 batting average. To this point in the season Venegas has 4 wins and 10 losses and a 6.58 ERA. |
