Dave Burns Hurt, Out of Action Friday, June 14th, 2019 Disappointing news today for New York Mets fans. Dave Burns was hurt running the bases in their game against the Miami Marlins and has a strained hamstring. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the right fielder out at least 6 weeks. This year Burns is hitting .301, produced 42 RBIs and 10 home runs, scored 56 times and gotten on base at a .405 rate. |
