Wood Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, June 10th, 2019 Ryan Wood has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 25-year-old Milwaukee Brewers left fielder extended his streak today to 20 games, going 1-for-4 as Milwaukee got the best of the California Angels at Disney Stadium, 9-5. "Ryan has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Brewers manager Branden Chadick said. Ryan Wood flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 6th. On the year Wood is hitting .352 with 88 hits, 19 home runs, 49 RBIs, .401 OBP and has scored 54 runs. |
