Kansas City-Montreal Trade: Stoner for Bord Monday, June 10th, 2019 In a move that has left many fans wondering, the Kansas City Royals have traded 29-year-old RHP Pat Stoner and a 7th round draft pick to the Montreal Expos. In return, the Royals receive 30-year-old RHP Matt Bord. Montreal will retain a portion of Bord's remaining contract. This year Stoner has a 3-2 record with a 5.20 ERA. This year Kansas City reliever Bord has made 22 relief appearances and has 12 saves. His record is 6-2 with 30 strikeouts in 22.1 innings and a 3.63 ERA. |
