California Angels Ship Gallon to Baltimore Monday, May 27th, 2019 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Angels and Orioles have agreed to a swap. Baltimore will get 27-year-old RF Benny Gallon with California receiving 28-year-old LF Alex Gallardo in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. On the year Gallon has hit .188 with 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Gallardo is currently hitting at a .286 pace with no home runs and 0 RBIs. |
