Year Over for Giants Velasquez Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 The season is finished for Alfredo Velasquez of the San Francisco Giants. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Giants reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the California Angels. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal. |
