Cura, Cura Swap Teams Saturday, December 29th, 2018 Several Blue Jays and Black Bears players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Toronto will get a 8th round draft pick and Virginia will pick up 24-year-old SS Bobby Cura in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Blue Jays." As far as career numbers Cura has compiled a .242 batting average and collected 130 hits, 10 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
