July's Best Newcomer Named by WEST Sunday, August 1st , 2038 Justin Adkins earned Rookie of the Month honors today in the Western Region, posting solid numbers in July. The Vancouver pitcher put up a 4-0 mark with a 1.67 ERA and struck out 27 in 37.2 innings. He allowed opposing hitters to hit .243 and walked 7 batters. Adkins has made 6 starts so far this year and put up a 4-0 won-lost record with a 2.21 ERA. In 40.2 innings he has allowed 38 hits, walked 8 and struck out 30. |
