Kohler Named EAST's Best Rookie Sunday, August 1st , 2038 4 victories in a month's time got David Kohler of the Baltimore Orioles the Eastern Region Rookie of the Month award. He was in rare form in July, running up an impressive 4-0 mark and a 1.38 ERA. Teams could only manage a .190 batting average against Kohler. In 5 starts and 32.2 innings he had 31 strikeouts and 2 walks. His record this year is 9-3 in 19 starts and Kohler has a 4.46 ERA. |
