Baltimore Loses Edward Acosta, Will Miss Season Friday, July 5th, 2024 The season is ending on a bad note for Edward Acosta, reliever for the Baltimore Orioles. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Acosta was hurt against the California Angels while throwing a pitch.
