Finch and Turner Fight, Get Suspended Friday, July 8th, 2022 If there wasn't a history between Mike Finch of Texas and Ralph Turner of Toronto, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Finch said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Finch is batting .221 this season in 66 games with 14 home runs, 40 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 208 at-bats. In 17 starts this season Turner has chalked up a 11-2 record and a 2.96 ERA. |
