Vancouver, Houston Make Deal Monday, August 18th , 2042 BNN has learned the Vancouver Cascades have reportedly worked out a deal with the Houston Astros. Sources close to the Cascades indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 38-year old 2B Justin Lynch and $75,000 in cash will be swapped to Vancouver with $1 in cash heading to Houston. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. Houston will retain a portion of Lynch's remaining contract. For the year Lynch is batting .218 with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
