WEST Player of the Week Chosen Monday, July 26th , 2038 One of the league's most exciting young players, Lorenzo Baltar of the Vancouver Cascades earned himself Western Region Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 25-year-old designated hitter had a lofty .625 average (10-for-16), collecting 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Presently Baltar is batting .289 with 83 hits and 9 home runs. He has knocked in 40 runs and scored 36 times. |
