Snider No-Hits Arizona
Monday, August 11th , 2042
It was a fantastic day for Los Angeles Dodgers starter Oliver Snider and a lousy day for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Los Angeles hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Diamondbacks, as the Dodgers cruised to a 16-0 win. When it was all over, Snider was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.
"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Snider said later.
He rang up 12 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Arizona down at Dodger Stadium.
In 23 starts this season Snider has registered a 8-3 record and a 3.02 ERA.
