San Diego-Texas Trade Confirmed Monday, July 5th , 2038 BNN has learned the San Diego Padres have reportedly worked out a deal with the Texas Rangers. Sources close to the Padres indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 30-year old LF Matt Mark will be swapped to San Diego with $1 in cash heading to Texas. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. This season Mark is batting .295 with 82 hits, 7 home runs, 23 RBIs, 18 walks, .347 OBP and has scored 38 runs. He has played in 67 games. |
