Phillies RP Floyd Out Sunday, June 27th , 2038 The Philadelphia Phillies announced this afternoon that reliever Alard Floyd would be out of action for 4-5 months. He sustained a partially torn labrum playing the Rockies. It happened throwing a pitch. This year Floyd has pitched 44.2 innings over 25 relief appearances, picking up no saves and held opponents to a .197 average. Floyd has a 2-0 record with a 3.63 ERA and 53 strikeouts. |
