Kansas City-Detroit Trade: Flint for Estrada Monday, May 30th, 2022 Kansas City and Detroit announced some roster changes today as the Royals acquired 31-year-old 3B Edwin Estrada and 23-year-old LHP Pedro Gutierrez from the Tigers in exchange for 30-year-old LF Johnny Flint. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. This year Flint has hit at a .313 clip with 57 hits, 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Hitting .167 to date, Estrada has no home runs and 5 RBIs. He has played in 26 games. |
