Adams Hits in 20 Straight Games Wednesday, June 21st , 2028 With 1 hit at American Family Field today, Brad Adams added another game to his hitting streak -- the Milwaukee first baseman has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Brewers today, as they fell, 6-3, to the New York Mets. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," New York manager Phil Cluse said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Brad Adams singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season Adams has delivered 100 hits in 287 at-bats for a .348 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .390 clip and his totals also include 46 RBIs and 36 runs scored. This year Adams has played in 69 games. |
