Gomez's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback Tuesday, June 20th , 2028 Ottaviano Gomez, third baseman for the San Francisco Giants, was making great progress in healing a strained oblique according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Ottaviano was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 5 days before he will be able to rejoin the club." Thus far this year Gomez is hitting .228 with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
