The Colorado first baseman blistered Oakland for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Adams was too tough to get out today," the Athletics skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Brad Adams walked in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Steve Wills in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
