Flying Tigers Rally For 4-3 Win
|
Medford third baseman Carson Adams was a significant contributor in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Wenatchee Chiefs. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Flying Tigers. Reliever Andretty De Bach picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. V.J. Lumpkin took the loss. Medford is 7th in the Northwest League South Division with a record of 19-25.
Adams had a timely hit for Medford in the bottom of the eighth. With Medford trailing 3-2, he turned a 2-2 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Medford.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Wenatchee manager Mika Brouwer said, following the tough loss.
