Derek Mulford left his imprint on the 7-2 Gold Beach win against the Rogue Valley Dodgers. Mulford was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Emiliano Aguayo recorded the save, his 1st. At 23-22, the Sea Unicorns claim 5th place in the Northwest League South Division.

With Gold Beach leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Mulford hit a cutter from Peter Salazar for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Sea Unicorns ahead, 5-0.

"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Sea Unicorns manager Jason Campbell.
