The Gold Beach Sea Unicorns defeated the Boise Hawks, 5-4. Catcher Alex Lambert deserved a large share of the credit. Lambert went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Sea Unicorns. The 'W' lifts Gold Beach's record to 30-15.

Lambert had a timely hit for Gold Beach in the top of the ninth. With Gold Beach trailing 4-2, he turned a 0-1 changeup into a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Gold Beach.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Lambert.
