Canucks Snag 9-5 Win
The Abbotsford Canucks topped the Boise Hawks by a score of 9-5. Leading the way was left fielder Willard Oleson. Oleson was 2-5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Canucks. The Canucks move to 28-28 with the win, while the Hawks drop to 24-33.

Oleson had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 2-2 fastball from Andy Burns, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Canucks a 9-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Oleson.

"There's no quit in this team," said Canucks manager Jose Colon.
