Whitworth Now 2-2 After Subduing Dust Devils

The Medford Flying Tigers knocked off the Tri-City Dust Devils, 4-0, in Northwest League action at Gesa Stadium. Medford pitcher and Des Peres, Missouri, native Anthony Whitworth had an outstanding performance. The Dust Devils, now 15-24, have lost 4 straight.
Whitworth, now 2-2, scattered 4 hits over 7.1 innings for the Flying Tigers.
"The guys are feeling pretty good about where they're at right now," said Flying Tigers manager Anthony Delaney. "We have a lot of guys playing with confidence."
