Steedley Helps Abbotsford Outscore Gold Beach
The Gold Beach Sea Unicorns and Abbotsford Canucks left the fans buzzing.

The Abbotsford Canucks used the hitting of designated hitter Ethan Steedley to subdue the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns, 16-10. For the game, Steedley went 4 for 5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. The Canucks raised their record to 21-19.

Jon Gatto had a big grand slam home run for the Canucks in the bottom of the third inning. With Abbotsford leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Jarvis Kirouac and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Canucks ahead, 7-2.

"We came out aggressive," said Canucks manager Chad Greene. "We came out swinging the bats."
