The Atlantic City Jokers trumped the Youngstown Gremlins, 5-3, at Monongalia County Ballpark. Atlantic City first baseman Manuel Jacobo was terrific. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Grant Harris, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits. Judson Luman earned the save, his 7th, for the Jokers.

The Jokers got a lift from shortstop Sebastian Scott, who in the bottom of the sixth stroked a 0-2 slider into center for a 2-run single. It was his 33rd hit of the season and put the Jokers ahead, 5-3.

"I know we have our doubters," said Youngstown manager Danny Silva. "But I still have high hopes for this team."

Atlantic City is now 15-40.
