Volcanoes Knock Off Owls, 12-4
The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes polished off the Roseburg Owls by the score of 12-4. The largest share of the credit belonged to right fielder Madison Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum hit 2 home runs for the Volcanoes. Luke Young earned the win to go to 2-2. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 10 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. With the victory, the Volcanoes upped their record to 25-17.

Dylan Nicita drove in one run for Salem-Keizer. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Isaac Mieth. It was his 17th RBI of the season.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Rosenbaum.
