AquaSox Earn Clutch Win, 2-1
|
Rush Bradford pitched a dandy of a game to help the Everett AquaSox beat the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, 2-1. Cayden Mettler collected his 8th save. The victory gives Everett a record of 26-14.
Everett used a timely hit from Alex Trudnak to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the AquaSox ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Bradford after the game.
