Dust Devils Dealt 3-2 Loss by Maine
|
The Maine Lobsters topped the Tri-City Dust Devils, 3-2, in New York-Penn League action at Portland Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Maine pitcher Normando Suazo. Jon Philippe picked up the save, his 1st. At 33-21, the Lobsters have a slim two-game lead in the New York-Penn League North Division.
Thomas Jones aided the Maine cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Jones. "Just do my job."
