Ricardo Goes Off, But Volcanoes Win
Redmond center fielder Paolo Ricardo pounded Salem-Keizer Volcanoes pitchers at Ron Tonkin Field, but it was not enough to keep the Rattlers from falling, 8-5. Ricardo hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Eduardo Almaraz claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 4 innings. His record stands at 2-1. Salem-Keizer bumps their record to 19-17 with the win.

Salem-Keizer took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Wilder Jacobs hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Volcanoes.
