Medford got a terrific game from designated hitter Maikel Guevara. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Spokane, 10-5. Guevara was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. The win belonged to Karl Adams in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Holden Wesley took the loss for Medford. The Indians win now puts them at 21-15.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Maikel Morales came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Medford pitcher Holden Wesley, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Spokane on top, 6-5.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Spokane manager Brice Bargman.
