The Boise Hawks stymied the Hamilton Red Wings, 7-1, at Memorial Stadium. Theodore Paglingayen had a good day at the plate. He was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Boise. The 6th-place Hawks now have a win-loss record of 21-29.
With Boise leading 4-1 in the bottom of the eighth, Paglingayen hit a slider from Richard Amico for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Hawks ahead, 7-1.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Paglingayen.
