A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns and Spokane Indians.

The Gold Beach Sea Unicorns dealt the Spokane Indians a 6-3 loss at Redding Grounds. Alex DeWitt was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win puts the Sea Unicorns at 14-15, while the Indians drop to 16-13.

DeWitt had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count slider from Colin Wallen, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Sea Unicorns a 6-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for DeWitt.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said DeWitt.
