Canucks Reel-In 2-0 Win Over Dodgers
|
The Abbotsford Canucks dealt the Rogue Valley Dodgers a 2-0 loss at Medford Ballpark. William Liotta was the star on offense. He went 2 for 3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. The winner in relief was Roman Vea. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Abbotsford has now won 5 in a row.
Early in the game, Liotta had a run-scoring double for Abbotsford. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Canucks on top, 1-0.
"It was our day today," Liotta told the Abbotsford Daily News. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
