Dust Devils Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Emeralds
Tomás Rocha never let Eugene get something going. The Tri-City right-hander commanded his splitter in pitching the Dust Devils to a 5-1 win. Rocha, the winner, moves to 5-3. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks. Lonny Park got credit for the save for Tri-City. It was his 2nd of the year.

The Dust Devils benefited from an error in the top of the second inning. Tri-City was trailing 1-0 when Ray Morales hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Tri-City in front, 2-1.

"It's still just a game," said Morales, "whether you win or lose."

Tri-City, at 24-24, sits in 6th place in the Northwest League North Division.
